Felipa Marta Diaz

Felipa Marta Diaz passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. She was born in Oaxaca, Mexico on February 13, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Rafael Pacheco and Micaela Martinez. She was the wife of Benito Diaz Altamirano.

Today, we gather to celebrate the life of an extraordinary woman - Felipa, a mother, grandmother, and the heart of a family that she built with boundless love. Felipa was the proud mother of twelve children: Luis Ramon Diaz Pacheco (deceased), Gabriel Diaz Pacheco, Isabel Diaz Pacheco, Lucio Diaz Pacheco, Rosendo Diaz Pacheco, Raymunda Diaz Pacheco, Crispina Diaz Pacheco, Victoria Diaz Pacheco, Rosalba Diaz Pacheco, Rosario Solis, Marisela Venegas and Benito Diaz Pacheco; and the loving grandmother to forty-nine grandchildren. She gave her heart freely, asking for nothing in return, and through her love she built not only a family, but a legacy of kindness and unity that will live on through generations. She had a strength that inspired everyone who knew her — quiet yet unshakable, gentle yet powerful. She found joy in simple things: the beauty of roses in bloom, the rhythm of good music, and the laughter of family gathered around her. Her home was always filled with warmth, love, and the comforting sense that you were exactly where you belonged.

Felipa’s life reminds us that true love expects nothing back — it gives, forgives, and endures. Though she is no longer with us, her love surrounds us still, woven into the very fabric of our hearts and memories.

May her soul rest in peace, and may her spirit continue to bloom — like her beloved roses — in the lives of all who were blessed to know her.

A visitation for Felipa will be held Friday, October 10, 2025 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Smith Memory Chapel, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA 30680. The Funeral will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025 at St. Matthew Catholic Church starting at 1:30PM. Burial will follow after at Barrow Memorial Gardens.

Felipa fue la orgullosa madre de doce hijos: Luis Ramon Diaz Pacheco (deceased), Gabriel Diaz Pacheco, Isabel Diaz Pacheco, Lucio Diaz Pacheco, Rosendo Diaz Pacheco, Raymunda Diaz Pacheco, Crispina Diaz Pacheco, Victoria Diaz Pacheco, Rosalba Diza Pacheco, Rosario Solis, Marisela Venegas and Benito Diaz Pacheco; y la amorosa abuela de cuarenta y nueve nietos. Entregó su corazón con generosidad, sin pedir nada a cambio, y a través de su amor construyó no solo una familia, sino un legado de bondad y unidad que perdurará de generación en generación. Poseía una fuerza que inspiraba a todos los que la conocieron: serena pero inquebrantable, dulce pero poderosa. Encontraba alegría en las cosas sencillas: la belleza de las rosas en flor, el ritmo de la buena música y la risa de la familia reunida a su alrededor. Su hogar siempre rebosaba de calidez, amor y la reconfortante sensación de estar en el lugar al que pertenecías.

La vida de Felipa nos recuerda que el amor verdadero no espera nada a cambio: da, perdona y perdura. Aunque ya no está con nosotros, su amor aún nos rodea, entretejido en la esencia misma de nuestros corazones y recuerdos.

Que su alma descanse en paz y que su espíritu siga floreciendo, como sus queridas rosas, en la vida de todos los que tuvieron la bendición de conocerla.
