Gerald "Jerry" Felton Whitley, age 86, of Winder, GA passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Jerry was born in Atlanta, GA and received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University. He was a proud veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force. Jerry was formerly a member of Briarcliff Baptist Church in Atlanta. He retired as a Loan Officer for Wells Fargo after a 34 year career.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Evell Felton "Whit" and Jeannette Whitley, and his wife of 58 years, Sally. He is survived by three daughters: Valarie Whitley of Dunwoody, Sheryl (Robert) Ivey of Winder, and Camilla Whitley of Winder; three grandchildren: Christopher Whitley of Winder, Blair Ivey of Minneapolis, and James Ivey of Winder; and one great grandchild, Peyton Whitley of Winder.
