Gregory Thomas Albert

Gregory Thomas Albert, age 41, of Statham, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022. Greg was born June 27, 1980. He was the maintenance manager for Benson’s Bakery in Bogart, GA. Greg was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and grilling. He also was a huge Georgia Bulldogs fan.

Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Maryann Brock. He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Amy Albert of Statham; his father, Tommy Albert of Lithia Springs; four sons, RJ and Colby Nail of Jackson and Kalani and Brock Albert of Statham; a daughter, Jasmine Contreras of Fort Worth, TX; a brother, Mark Weeks of Macon; a sister, Wendy Weeks of Ellaville and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 4, 2022 from 6PM until 8PM at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA and from 12PM until 2PM Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Way-Watson Funeral Home, Ellaville, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2PM Wednesday April 6, 2022 in the chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Ellaville City Cemetery.
