Harry Myron Evans

Harry Myron Evans, age 70, of Loganville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. During his life, he worked for Alterman Foods for over 20 years and Southeastern Freight, also for over 20 years. Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Braselton Evans; and both of his parents, Jesse Myron and Gwendolyn Carrie Boyd Evans. Survivors include Harry’s fiancé, Donna Lewellyn of Loganville; two sons, Scott Evans of Stockbridge, GA and Shane Evans of Cumming, GA; three brothers, Larry (Frankie) Evans of Winder, GA, Ronnie (Glenda) Evans of Cartersville, GA, Gregory Evans of Statham, GA; two sisters, Pat (Bill) Peters of Fayetteville, GA and Kathy (Mark) Mitchell of New Orleans, LA; two granddaughters, Anzlee Evans and Kealy Jo Franklin. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 pm on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 19, 2013 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Reverend Matt Henning officiating. No graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Source Worship Center, 207 Marvin Land Lane, Canton, GA 30115 or Waypoint Center, 45 Eagle Overlook Dr., Dahlonega, GA 30523.
