

Howard Ray Nordeck, age 91, of Bethlehem, Georgia passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022. Howard was born February 3, 1931, in Terra Alta, West Virginia. Howard received a Business Degree from West Virginia University in Morgantown. After college he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a Vietnam veteran and was a pilot of the Douglas A1Skyraider. During his 23 years in the United States Air Force, Howard rose to the rank of Colonel. His service to his country and his community continued as a Magistrate Judge in West Virginia and Tucson, Arizona.
Howard is preceded in death by his parents: Elliott Ray and Lena Hillary Nordeck; his loving wife of 57 years, Betty; and his brother, Charles Nordeck. He is survived by his children: Mark (Janice) Nordeck of Bethlehem, and Bonnie Nordeck of Winder; grandchildren: Toni (Josh) Brandon, and Keith Giddens, Jr.; and great-grandchildren: Kennedy Brandon, Sammie Giddens, and Nellie Cate Giddens.
There will be no local services. Howard and his wife Betty will be joined together at their final resting place at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
