Dr. Aderhold exemplified Christ in his love of Christ, his love of the Scriptures, his love for fellow Christians, and his love for the lost. I'll never forget how he led so effectively with a gentle and humble spirit. I studied under him for only a year at the North Georgia campus of NOBTS, but his impact lives on through me and many, many others.

Just found out about Dr. A's going home. Our prayers are with the family. He was truly a man of God, a man worthy to imitate in speech, life, love, faith and purity. Dr. A became our model of faithfulness in ministry and devotion to family. Every memory of Dr. A. brings a smile to our faces. Even now, through the stories and experiences he shared in class, we're reaping the blessings of his wisdom; lessons that could not be learned from textbooks. Truly will be missed. Can't wait to see him in heaven!

David and Laura. Sorry I cannot be there to share in Don's home going celebration. I always enjoyed our times together. I do not know if Ginger, Cheryl, or Walter will be able to be there but be assured of our love and prayers. Clay Turner, cousin

David and Family, I just would like for you to know that I sat under your Father's teaching at North Gerogia Campus for four years. I learned a great deal from him. He was always kind and understanding. I was one of the "old men" in his class. Our prayers go out to you and your family. Rev. Jimmy A. Cox.

My husband Jody just heard from his parents Joyce and Jim Irvin from seeing in the newspaper. All of them had good things to say about Pastor Aderhold. Joyce remembers how he cared for Jody when he was sick as a child by visiting often. Jody remembers how he taught him the Word of God. He was a blessing to many. I joined the family years later but have often heard his name and know what he meant to the IRVIN family and he lived a life of service to God.

"Dr A" was my first seminary professor at NOBTS/North GA campus. A gentleman, Christian and mentor of men and women entering and already in the ministry. I will never forget the little things Dr A did for me. He would pray for me and with me, speak God's Word into my life and be a great encourager. I am the Christian and Pastor God called me to be because of Dr A.
