Dr. James "Jim" Harold Farmer of Winder passed away September 19, 2010 at the of age 82. He Graduated from Oconee County High School in 1945. Graduated from the University Of Georgia on 1951. He opened Farmers Prescription Shop in 1960. A member of the Gideons and was a director with The Peoples Bank From 1966-2000. A former President with the Barrow County Camber of Commerce. He was also a veteran of the U.S.Army. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joan Farmer, Sons, James M. "Jimbo" Farmer and Michael Farmer both of Winder and Daughter, Karen Lewis of Watkinsville. 9 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Arrangements under the direction of Smith Memory Chapel, Winder, GA.
