James Bertram Greer Jr.

Jim was a proud U.S. Army veteran, having served in Korea in the 187th Regimental Combat Team. He had two combat parachute jumps and he was awarded the Silver Star for Bravery. Since 1989, Jim was the Farm Manager of White Fox Farm, a horse farm, in Winder.

Jim was predeceased by his parents, James Bertram Greer, Sr. and Billy Crisler Greer. He is survived by his wife Marie Greer; son, James B. Greer, III; daughters: Pamela Forstoff and Candace Lee; step-daughter, Michelle Beaver; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 2:00 pm in Smith Memory Chapel, 755 Atlanta Highway SE, Winder, Georgia. Rev. Dwight Oakes will officiate.
