James Winton Harvey

James Winton Harvey, age 75, died Friday April 15, 2016. A native of Gwinnett County, Mr. Harvey was the son of the late Alfonso and Lois Holcombe Harvey. Mr. Harvey was preceded in death by his daughter Jamie Lynn Harvey and first wife Sue Harvey. Mr. Harvey was a avid golfer, worked for Chimney Golf Course as a grounds keeper, was retired from General Motors, was a member of Bethlehem Church, was a little league coach at Dacula , and was a founding member of the Dacula Rec. Department.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Bethlehem Church at 11:00am. Rev. Sam Davis will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife; Elaine McAbee Harvey; children Pamela (Wayne) Sharpton, Erica Goddard (Craig Armstrong), Erin (Mike) Cavey, James Allen Harvey, Terry (Catherine) Harvey, and Joel (Stacey) Goddard; 13 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
