James Almond Lee

James Almond Lee, age 96, passed away on January 15, 2022. Mr. Lee was the son of the late James R. and Blondine Morris Lee. Mr. Lee served in the Army during World War II as a Private First Class in Company I, 413th Infantry. He was a poultry farmer and was retired from Rohr Aircraft Industries and from CMC of Georgia. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lee was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Snow Lee; two sisters: Lois and Susie Lee; and a brother, Thomas B. Lee. Survivors include his children: Edward (Joy) Lee, Dennis (Debbie) Lee, and Nancy (Phil) Stephens; five grandchildren: Spring (Brian) Day, Brian Lee, Mandy Lee, Emily (Owen) Bullard and Amanda (Johnathon) Floyd. Graveside services will be held Tuesday January 18, 2022 at noon at the Chapel Christian Church Cemetery, Winder, GA. Smith Funeral Home, Winder, has charge of the arrangements.
