Mrs. Jeanette Gail Kennedy

Mrs. Jeanette Gail Kennedy, age 66, of Winder, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016. A native of Duluth, Georgia she was the daughter of the late James Hosch and Jeanette Gittens. Mrs. Kennedy retired from the Barrow County School Systems as a lunch room attendant.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Lynn Kennedy Greeson.

Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her loving husband, Mr. Billy Kennedy of Winder; two sons, Mike (Quata) Kennedy and Vince (Melaina) Kennedy both of Winder; three daughters, Sherry (Mark) Harrell of Peachtree Corners, Karen (Darlene) Kennedy of Buford, Jessica (Kevin) Rutledge of Winder; brothers, Terry Hosch of North Carolina and Charlers Hosch of Tennessee; sister, Patricia Hardegree of Braselton; 16 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren also survive.

The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM from the Smith Memory Chapel with Revs. Richard Cole, Mark Harrell, and Jerry Kennedy officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent in memory of Mrs. Kennedy to the Barrow County Cancer Society.
