Jeffrey Christopher Howell

Jeffrey Christopher Howell was born at the Beaufort Naval Hospital, in Beaufort, SC, on April 20, 1979. Jeffrey was the youngest of three children to Warren and Donna (nee Selby) Howell. Jeffrey passed quietly into heaven on February 15, 2026 due to an unknown heart condition.

The majority of Jeffrey’s education was completed in the Muscogee County School District, Columbus, GA, graduating from Spencer High School in 1997. After High School, Jeffrey moved to Atlanta, GA where he met and married Diana Mosquera. From this union they were blessed with two children, Kamila and Ava.

Jeffrey primarily worked as an insurance adjuster. Each of his employers raved about the quality of his work. Jeffrey enjoyed cooking, especially grilling. Jeffrey shared pictures of his grilling with family and enjoyed comparing his dishes with his brother Keith and brother-in-law Jasper. Jeffrey enjoyed short trips with Diana, Kami, and Ava and he made each member of his household a Philadelphia Eagles fan, with some of Ava’s first words being the Eagle’s fight song.

Jeffrey was a spiritual, loving husband, father, uncle, son, brother and friend. He enjoyed being around all members of his family and stayed in constant contact through calls, visits, online meetings and gifts. Jeffrey had an immense sense of humor and he was one of the best people that you could meet. Jeffrey was gentle and kind and dedicated. To be part of his world was to know how wonderful the world could be. We are all better because Jeffrey existed.

Jeffrey will be remembered and cherished by: his wife, Diana and children, Kamila and Ava; his mother, Donna; father, Warren Sr. (Polly); sister Melissa Smith (Jasper) of Newark, DE; brother Warren K Howell Jr. (Keshea) of Lawrenceville, GA; step-brother James M Wiley of Newark, DE; nephews: Jalen, J’Mierius, Zion, Amari and Cristiano; nieces: Essence, Alexis, Jasmin, Je’Liyah, and Julianna; great-nephew, Elias; Uncles: David Howell (Patricia) and Julius (Billy) Selby, both of Philadelphia, PA; aunts: Cynthia (Cindy) of Philadelphia, PA; father and mother In-law: Jose Mosquera and Myriam Ararat of Winder, GA; brother and sister-in-law: Fabian Mosquera and Joanna Arredondo of Port St. Lucie, FL; and a host of cousins, friends, co-workers and acquaintances made through his life.

Jeffrey’s nephew, Elijah; niece, Erykah; aunt, Penny; uncle, Tony Selby; and cousin, Angela Payne-Wright, preceded him in death.
