Jimmie Bailey O'Neal, age 85, passed away on March 18, 2023. Jimmie was the daughter of the late James and Evanee Carter Bailey. Jimmie was the widow of the late Thomas Ernie O'Neal, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Richard Hopkins, and grandson, Dustin Brittingham.
Survivors include her children: Sharon Hopkins, Sheila (Greg) Brittingham, and Thomas E. O'Neal, Jr.; six grandchildren: Jason Hopkins, Jeremy Hopkins, Dylan Brittingham, Macie Brittingham, Devin O'Neal, and Kiersten O'Neal; and three great-grandchildren: Alexis Ramey, Taylor Hopkins, and Bailey Hopkins.
Funeral services will be held on March 21, 2023 at 4:00 pm in Smith Memory Chapel. Burial will follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Smith Funeral Home from 3:00 until 4:00 pm prior to the service.
