John Fletcher Lyle Jr., age 84, died Wednesday September 2, 2015. A native of Barrow, Co. Mr. Lyle was the son of the late John F. Lyle Sr. and Eddiebelle Reynolds Lyle. Mr. Lyle was retired from General Motors after service of 31years and was a Navy and Marine Veteran.
Funeral services will be held Friday September 4, 2015 at Smith Memory Chapel at 11:00am. Rev. Randolph Gordon and Rev. Willard Watson will officiate. Burial will follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife; Betty Cain Lyle; children; Jeff (Connie) Lyle of Marietta, Ga., Tim (Cindy) Lyle of Gray, Ga.; sisters; Eunice Saunders and Grace Everett; grandchildren; Cassidy, Brett, Chris, Trent, and Hunter Lyle.
Smith Memory Chapel, Winder, has charge of arrangements.
