He was a member of New Emmanuel Church. Johnny retired as a truck driver for Carwood Manufacturing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Enoch and Lily Mae Hale Church and a son, Scotty Church. Johnny is survived by two sons, Mitchell Church (Cindy) of Winder and Wayne Church of Winder; a brother, Charles Miller (Linda) of Bethlehem; two sisters, Shelby Jean Wright of Gaffney, SC and Nancy Thompson of Trion, NC; five grandchildren, Brittany, Emily, Bradley, Joseph and Brandon Church and two great-grandchildren, Khloe and Kristal Church.
A funeral service will be held at 2PM Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Pastor Martha Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12PM until service time at the funeral home.
