Jonathan "Brian" Cox, age 46, passed on Monday, March 16, 2026. He was born on September 1, 1979, to Mike and Vickie Cox in Athens, Georgia. Brian loved woodworking and did many special projects using slabs and logs. He was great at drawing and airbrushing.
Brian is predeceased by his father, John Michael Cox; grandparents: Joyce and Choice Holliday and Sue and Earl Cox.
Brian is survived by his mother Vickie Cox of Statham; brother and sister-in-law: Shane and Michelle Cox of Statham; nephew, Dylan Cox; niece, Brittany Cox; and many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him.
Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
A Graveside Service will be held at Barrow Memorial Gardens, 793 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
