Judith "Judy" Elizabeth Shelnutt, age 62 of Jefferson, GA, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. She was born on June 14, 1963, to Charles Anderson Martin and Cornelia Elizabeth Norton Martin Ludewig on Andrews Air Force Base. Judy loved to travel - definitely if it involved a cruise. In the last few years, she took up crafting and enjoyed learning how to make new things.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother Charles "Andy" Anderson Martin.
Judy is survived by her loving husband Larry Shelnutt; daughters: Jennifer Elizabeth Coker and Brittney Leigh (Scott) Coker-Canup; son, Robert Scott Coker; and grandchildren, Bailey and Brayden.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Smith Funeral Home from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow in the Chapel of Smith Funeral Home at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held at Barrow Memorial Gardens.
