Mrs. Maxey was the daughter of the late M.J. and Carolyn Louise Fleeman Everett. Throughout her life, Mrs. Maxey was a dedicated homemaker.
Mrs. Maxey is survived by her husband of 58 years, Mr. Richard Maxey of Winder; sons, David Maxey of Lawrenceville, and Ricky (Sulan) Maxey of Winder; brother, M.J. Everett of Auburn; sisters, Ann Parks of Doraville, Sue Bolden of Winder, Bobbie House of Winder, and Marilyn McDaniel of Winder; four grandchildren, Justin, Creston, Kaleigh, and Brandon Maxey.
A graveside service to honor the life of Mrs. Judy Maxey will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Barrow Memorial Gardens with Pastor J.R. Ewing officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
