OBITUARY
Julian Ernest Perry
June 18, 1920 – February 26, 2013
Julian Ernest Perry, age 92, of Winder, GA, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Julian was a graduate of Monroe High School. He retired from The United States Postal Service as a mail carrier and was a member of Carter Hill Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Morris Perry; and his parents, Arthur and Ruth Harris Perry. He is survived by his daughter, Julianna (Mike) Carnathan of Winder; two sisters-in-law, Frances Hardie of Decatur, GA and Virginia Perry of Canton, GA; two grandchildren, Ben (Cortney) Carnathan of Winder and Kelly Carnathan of Chicago, IL; and three great-grandchildren, Lillian, Xaris, and Rowan Carnathan. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, February 28, 2013 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Reverends Tom Plank and Nick Vipperman officiating. The interment will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens, Winder. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Galilee Christian Church Building Fund. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
