Kayla Greenway, age 25 of Gainesville, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015. She was a 2006 graduate of Dacula High School and a graduate of Lanier Technical College where she became a certified medical assistant. Kayla was currently an assistant manager for Pet Smart. She is survived by her parents, Judy and Ricky Steele of Lewisville, TX and Scott and Valerie Greenway of Winder; a brother, Dustin Greenway (Marcia) of Duluth; two step-sisters, Candice Johnson of Auburn and Tabatha Darcy (Larry) of Winder; grandparents, Betty Greenway of Bogart and W.D. and Linda Steele of Lewisville, TX; a niece, Alyvia Greenway and a very special friend, Brandon Roberts of Braselton. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 6 until 9 PM at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 10, 2015 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
