Lloyd "Dock" Frank Lee

Lloyd “Dock” Frank Lee, age 73, of Hoschton, GA, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013. During his life, he was a heavy equipment operator for Operating Engineers Local 926. He was of the Baptist faith. Doc was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Nettie Mae Satterfield Lee; and his son, Jimmy Lee. Survivors include his wife, Frances Birt Lee of Hoschton; three daughters, Patricia Gooch of Hoschton, Charlotte Phillips of Jefferson, GA, and Deborah Gooch of Braselton, GA; his brother, Joe Lee of Jefferson; three sisters, Dorothy Ledbetter of Winder, GA, Martha Jean Harbin of Gainesville, GA, and Beatrice Meeks of Monroe, GA; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 with Reverend James Gooch officiating. The burial will follow the service at White Plains Cemetery, Jefferson. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
