Lloyd Douglas Witt

Lloyd Douglas Witt, age 81, of Winder, GA passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024. He was born in Joplin, MO to the late Emory and Florence Witt. He was a member of the Presbyterian church. Lloyd proudly served as an Air Traffic Controller while in the U.S. Air Force. He retired after 25 years with Delta Airlines as a Ramp Agent. Lloyd was a loving parent and grandparent. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed bird hunting and fishing. Lloyd enjoyed collecting miniature airplanes, trains, and soldiers.

In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Neil Neubauer and his brother-in-law, Jimmy Ramey. Lloyd is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judy Witt; son, Doug (Christina) Witt of Winder; daughter, Kimberly Neubauer of Winder; grandchildren: Emory Witt, Lance Witt, Carsun Neubauer, Cameron Neubauer, and Cooper Neubauer; sister: Ellissia (Woody) Smyth; brother-in-law, Gene (Wanda) Ramey; sisters-in-law: Jane (Lee) Fowler, Nancy Ramey and Dianne (Bill) Reynolds; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lloyd may be made to either the Alzheimer's Association or the Wounded Warrior Project.
