Marion Faye Gresham

Marion Faye Gresham, age 88, passed away on August 31, 2025. She had a long career working with various companies, including: the Georgia Department of Transportation Mapping Division, and the Gwinnett County Tax Assessor’s Office in the Mapping Division. Faye loved to travel and she and her late husband enjoyed traveling with a Snellville Senior Group. During her travels, Faye visited all fifty states as well as 23 countries. Other than travel, her hobbies included sewing, making rag quilts, knitting, and crocheting. Faye was very proud that all of her children were in Law Enforcement.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Bryan McLean, Sr. and Zoma McLean; her husband, Leon Gresham; her brother, Thomas Bryan McLean, Jr.; and her beloved Shih Tzu, Maggie. Faye is survived by her children: Scott Gresham, Keith (Dianne) Gresham, and Samantha (fiance Brian) Whitehead; two grandchildren: Thomas Gresham and Joseph Gresham; and her brother, Pat McLean.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 20 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA. Following the visitation, there will be a Memorial Service at 3:00 pm in Smith Memory Chapel.
