Marjorie Ann Johnson

Marjorie "Ann" Johnson, age 79, of Bethlehem, Ga , passed away on May 10, 2022. Ann was born January 28, 1943 to parents Paul & Ruth Banks Amerson in Monroe Georgia where she was raised. Ann was the widow of the late John David "JD" Johnson. Throughout Ann's life she truly cherished and loved spending time with her children and family. She retired from Hills Ace Hardware. After retirement, she and JD would spend a lot of time traveling and camping in their RV they absolutely loved, but most of all she looked forward to Sundays where her family would gather at their home to continue making and cherishing memories already made. Ann was famous among her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids for her Sunday morning biscuits. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother who always put everyone before herself. She was and will always be treasured by her loved ones. Survivors include her children David Johnson, Alan Johnson, Tim Johnson & Misty Johnson Elrod; sister Paulette Stewart; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren of whom she loved dearly. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Smith Funeral home, Winder, has charge of the arrangements.
