Mark Anthony Saul, age 66, of Braselton, passed away on June 19, 2026. Mark was born in Detroit to the late William Clayton Saul and Mardena Joy Saul. He graduated from Bentley High School in Livonia, MI, and attended Michigan Technological University.
Mark was a talented artist, avid music listener, loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend, whose unparalleled sense of humor brought joy to everyone around him. He loved to joke and laugh with family and friends and worked tirelessly to be a great husband and father—a goal he achieved with distinction.
His engineering career began with a drafting position, earned in part because of his impeccable handwriting on the job application. Throughout his professional life, he worked in the automotive and industrial automation industries, serving as a Sales and Application Engineer with Mitsubishi Electric and later with Murrelektronik. There was very little Mark could not fix, and his determination to “make things go” became his personal mission. His work took him across many states and countries, including Japan, Mexico, and Germany, where he traveled 18 times during his career.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his four brothers: Billy, Randy, Mike, and Gary.
He is deeply grieved by his beloved wife of 35 years, Lori Saul; his children, Blake Saul (Rachel) of Broomfield, CO and Jillian Saul (Toby) of Braselton, GA; his sisters, Mary (Bob) Blair of Ludington and Dena (Rick) Awdish of West Bloomfield; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
The outpouring of love and support that Mark and his family received over the last several years from friends, family, and those who have become family, has been extraordinary—a testament to the impact he had on so many lives, and the legacy he leaves behind.
A Mass honoring Mark's life will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, located at 6439 Spout Springs Road, Flowery Branch, GA, on July 18, 2026, at 10:30 am, followed by a reception at Sterling on the Lake Clubhouse, 7005 Lake Sterling Blvd, Flowery Branch, GA. A celebration of his life will be held on August 22, 2026, at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, MI. Mark will be laid to rest in Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, MI.
In Loving Memory
"A life well lived is measured not by the years we are given, but by the lives we touch. Mark's laughter, kindness, determination, and love for his family will continue to inspire all who knew him."
