Martha Sue Cooper

Mrs. Martha Sue Cooper, age 89, of Statham, GA, died Friday, November 20, 2015. A native of Barrow County, Mrs. Cooper was the daughter of the late William and Susan Jane Millsaps Cooper, and a member of Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Lyle Cooper.

She is survivors by her daughter, Linda Cooper Alford, of Perry, GA; her son, Larry Cooper, of Statham; her five grandchildren, Russell Alford, of Perry; Allison Mayo, and husband Gary, of McDonough; Susan Granto, and husband Travis, of Evans; John Cooper, of Monroe; and Rainey Cooper Carroll, and husband Chris, of Bogart; as well as her five great-grandchildren, Tripp and Carson Mayo; Laney Granto; Gabby and Maddie Carroll.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Smith Memory Chapel. Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 p.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens.
