Mary Ann Hotalen

Mary Ann Johnson-Hotalen, age 77, of Winder, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend who adored her grandchildren and was an avid Alabama Football fan. Born to the late Leonard and Ruby Burgess Johnson, Ms. Hotalen was preceded in death by her sisters, Janette Gilmore, Sarah Williams, and Carmelita Mobbs. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Kim and Mark McAfee of Atlanta, Karen Crumbley of Winder; granddaughters, Ashley Crumbley of Winder, Brooke McAfee of Atlanta; sister, Imogene Godwin of Grove Oak, AL; brother, Winford Johnson of Chattanooga, TN; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 from 12-2 PM at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Little officiating. The burial will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens, Winder. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
