Mary Jo Savage

Mary Jo Savage, age 96, of Bethlehem, GA passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025. She was born in Loganville, GA on January 30, 1929 to Joseph and Mary Myrtle Pickrell. Mary Jo was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, planting flowers, sewing, and she loved talking with people.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband James Henry Savage; sons: Thomas Michael and James Terry Savage; son in law: Terry Bentley; and sisters: Marguerite Matejka and Julia Ann Howard.

She is survived by her children: Charles Savage, Carol Savage Bentley, Neal (Wanda) Savage, Stephen (Debbie) Savage, and Greg (Susan) Savage; and lots of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Monday, August 25, 2025 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA. The funeral service will be on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 1:00 pm in Smith Memory Chapel. Her burial will be at Barrow Memorial Gardens, 793 Atlanta Highway SE, Winder, GA.
