Mary Juanita Tate, age 81, of Braselton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents Herman Sanford Dunagan, Sr. and Maggie Nell Dunagan; son, Dewayne Williams; sisters: Joyce Westmoreland, Barbara Ann Brock, and Patsy Nell Dunagan; and brother, Buddy Dunagan.
Mary is survived by her daughters: Tammy Reece of Braselton, GA and Pam Tate of Stephens, GA; brother, Buck Dunagan of Bethlehem, GA; grandchildren: Tate and Paige Hughes of Watkinsville, GA , Brooke Minchew of Statham, GA, and Ryan and Jennifer Smith of Commerce, GA; and great grandchildren: Nate Hughes of Watkinsville, GA, and RJ Smith and Henry Smith, both of Commerce, GA.
Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. A Graveside Service will be held at Barrow Memorial Garden on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to a dementia organization of your choosing.
