Mrs. Laurene Martin , 89, of Winder passed away Saturday January 29, 2011. Born in Oconee County Ga. to the late James P. & Addie Bell Brewer Hardigree. She was the widow of Voltie Martin. She retired from Statham Garment and was a member of The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ where she was Founder and Charter member. She loved playing BINGO and was the BINGO Queen at Winder Healthcare .
She is survived by sons, Terry and Larry Martin, daughters, Peggy Whelchel and Susan Martin , 10 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2011 in our Chapel with burial at Barrow Memorial Gardens .
