Meguel Angel Chavez, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his mother Elvira Montalvo Chavez, and father, Estanisalos Chavez, of Teague, TX. Survivors include his children: Meguel Angel Chavez, Jr., Matthew Adam Chavez, and Melissa Marie Chavez. He is also survived by his sisters: Sara LeDezma of Houston, TX and Nena Rodgriques of Oregon, and brothers: Tony Chavez of Teague, TX, Paz Chavez of Mulford, TX, Francisco Chavez of Teaque, TX, and Jose Chavez of Cumming, GA. He worked as a certified welder and contractor, co-owner of Georgia Fluids, Inc. for twenty- two years. He was an active member of Bear Creek Baptist Church, Winder, GA.

The family is especially thankful for the wonderful nurses and doctors at NE Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA for their diligent and dedicated care of those they serve.

A graveside service is planned for Sunday March 7, 2021 at 2pm at Barrow Memorial Gardens with Rev. Johnny Wright officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-2pm on Sunday prior to the service.
