I only knew Mike for a year through the Winder Veterans resource center but during that short time, I saw his compassion for Helping fellow veterans in need. He had a great sense of humor and will be missed by so many including his dog Keira. Rest in peace Mike.

I came to know Mike during our training in the Barrow County CERT and then later with my son's JROTC. I always enjoyed talking with him. Last we spoke, we were talking about how my son and I could help veterans. Mike you gave so much, to so many. You will be missed. Rest easy my friend.
