Michelle Doster

Michelle Doster, age 52, of Winder, GA passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Michelle was a lifelong resident of Barrow County. She was a great cook, baker, and cake decorator and she was a big fan of UGA Bulldawgs football. Michelle was a self-employed caregiver. She loved her fur baby, Billy Jack. Michelle was known for her wild spirit. She was always kind, never judging, and always helpful to people around her. She was a lifelong Christian who loved her boys and devoted her life to being the best mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Quinten Carter and her stepdaughter, Stephanie Doster.

Michelle is survived by her mother, Joyce Lee of Auburn, and her birth father, George Manders of Statham.

In addition to her parents, Michelle is survived by her sons: Adam Doster and Peyton Doster of Bethlehem; daughter-in-law, Bailey Bridges of Bethlehem; stepdaughter, Amanda Doster of Winder; sisters: Penny Carter of Auburn and Stephanie Carter of Statham; and several nieces and nephews.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA.
