Mildred Fagan Brown

Mildred Fagan Brown, age 97, of Winder, Georgia passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church. Mildred loved spending time with her family, sewing, crafting, and baking cakes.

She is predeceased by her parents Jepter Roy Fagan and Bessie Young Fagan; her loving husband Odis Edward Brown; daughter, Patricia "Pat" Willard; sister, Helen McDaniel; brother, Harold Fagan; and grandchild, Laurie Beth Ash.

Mildred is survived by her daughters: Lynn Smith of Winder, GA; Nancy Walker (Larry) of LaGrange, GA; and Cindy Potts (Terry) of Winder, GA; grandchildren: Stephen Smith (Jessica), Emily Jones, John Ash (Cindy), Matthew Potts (Rachel), and Michael Potts; and great grandchildren: Blake Smith, Addison Smith, Andrew Smith, Grayson Jones, Alyssa Anderson, Jane Ash, Avery Ash, Anichka Ash, and Bryson Potts.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, Georgia 30680. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 pm in Smith Memory Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Barrow Memorial Gardens, 793 Atlanta Highway SE, Winder, Georgia.
