Otis Ray Wallace, age 83, of Winder passed away February 12, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, E. L. and Arline Mae Garrett Wallace; brother, G. W. “Jink” Wallace; and two sisters, Willie Sue Wilson and Reba Boyd. He is survived by his wife, Clara Dove Wallace of Winder; two step sons, Rick Kidd(Debbie) of Modesta, CA and John Kidd (Dr. Jo Jie) of Denver, CO; step daughter, Dalanda Kidd of Winterville, GA; brother, Henry Wallace (Dot) of Bethlehem; two sisters, Essie Lou McCullers of Monroe and Betty Sims of Winder; mother-in-law, Louise Dove of Athens; two brothers-in-law , Billy Boyd of Monroe and Jerry Dove (Brenda) of Athens; sister-in-law, Shirley Elam (Rick) of Iva, SC. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be Monday February 17, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday February 18, 2014 in the Chapel of Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Buford Lockman officiating.
