Patricia “Pat” Perkins Page, age 85 of Winder, GA, passed on September 17, 2026. She was a lifelong resident of Winder and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Bethlehem. Pat loved her family deeply and was a wonderful partner, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to those blessed to be near her. She enjoyed playing the piano for her church, cooking, shopping for too many shoes, eating her favorite candy bars, and going to Rafferty’s with her friends.
Next to Pat’s friends and family were her animals. She cared for animals of all kinds–cows, pigs, goats, dogs, chickens, and more! She showed them a love and appreciation to be admired. She never knew a stray that she didn’t take in, and she instilled this love and generosity for other living beings into her children and grandchildren as well. She ran the farm with her husband and brother until the day she passed. Her partnership and companionship will be missed.
If you were to ask Patricia, she would say she lived a good, simple life; however, she meant a great deal to those she left behind. The love held for her is good, but it is anything but simple. Her kindness and generosity touched the hearts of those blessed to be near her. Her family has a deep and lasting love for her, and they will always hold her near.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Emory Columbus Perkins, Jr. and Marie Elizabeth Hollifield Perkins, her husband, Dr. Robert “Kenny” Page, and her daughter, Sally Rogers. She is survived by her children: Robert "Bobby" (Amy) Page and Susan (David) Steele; son-in-law, Stanley Rogers; brother, Donnie Perkins; nine grandchildren: Joey (Josh) Rogers, Beth Fernando, Anna (Colby) Luther, Sarah (Brandon) Dickie, Saul (Avery) Page, Rachel (Josh) Hampton, Sophie (Erik) Richardson, Faith Steele, and Sam Page; and eleven great-grandchildren.
There will be a Visitation for family and friends on Thursday, September 24, 2026 from Noon until 2:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. Her Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm in Smith Memory Chapel with burial at Barrow Memorial Gardens.
