Paul C. Bentley, age 83, of Dacula passed away on January 1, 2013 at The Andrew T. Parker division of Embracing Hospice in Snellville. Mr. Bentley served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War. After 39 years of service at Delta Airlines, Mr. Bentley retired as an inspector in the quality control department. He was preceded in death by his father and mother,W.A. and Eunice Wood Bentley; brothers W.B. Bentley, Grady Bentley, and Ernest Bentley. Mr. Bentley is survived by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn Frances Fuller Bentley, of Dacula; Daughter, Paula Bentley Moore of San Diego, CA; Sons, Philip Bentley of Gulf Breeze, FL, Joel Bentley, of Dacula, Timothy Bentley, of Dacula; grandchildren, Daniel Keith Bentley, of Dacula, Kelli Nicole Bentley, of Yoan, Guam, Melissa Rose Bentley, of Buford, Joshua Michael Bentley, of Gulf Breeze, FL, Kaitlyn Ruth Bentley, of Troy, AL, Jonathan Andrew Bentley, of Harrisburg, SD; and sister, Dorothy Harmon, of Dallas, GA. Funeral services for Mr. Bentley will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Memory Chapel of Smith Funeral Home in Winder. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 6:00-9:00pm.
