Peggy Overton

Peggy Moses Overton peacefully joined her late husband O’Neal Overton in heaven on November 14th, 2025, in the presence of her extended family. Peggy was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on June 16, 1943. She moved to Winder, Georgia in 1979 and then moved to Easley, SC in 2014 to live with her daughter and son-in-law.

Peggy was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and a committed follower of Jesus Christ for her entire life. She was a devoted wife to O’Neal Overton for 34 years before he left this earth for heaven on February 1st, 1994. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and her entire family adored her.

She leaves behind her beloved daughter Renea Britt (Tom Britt), granddaughters Nikala White (Hunter White) and Alaina Siggers (John Siggers), grandsons Jordan and Noah Britt, and great grandchildren Barrett Sky and Lily Kate Siggers.

There will be a private graveside funeral with her close friends and family at Barrow Memorial Gardens in Winder, GA on Sunday November 16th, 2025, at 2PM. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in her honor to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
