Quinan Born

Winder, Ga.

Quinan "Quinn" Henry Born, age 81, died Thursday June 4, 2015. A Devoted Husband, Father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Mr. Born was the son of the late Curt and Erma Gentry Born.

Quinn served 22 years in the Air Force and 18 years as the Jr ROTC commander at Forest Park high school. He was a highly decorated Air Force officer who served his country with pride, confidence, and honor. Quinn served during the Cuban missile crisis and two tours of Vietnam. He received many air medals from his combat tours including three Distinguished Flying Crosses, the highest honor in the Air Force.

Survivors include wife; Doris Born; children; Curt (Lynn) Born, Leslie (Mark) Buzzotta, and Lisa Born.

Quinn will be deeply missed and his legacy will live on forever in the hearts and memories of all who knew him and even those spoke with him for a brief moment in time.

Family information:

Grandchildren: Lyndsey Cavola (Cameron), Colin Dunlop (Morgan), Chris Born, Katie Born, Garrett Born.

Great-grandchildren: Scarlett and Elle Cavola, Hayden Kallem-Born.

Memorial services will be held Sunday June 7, 2015 at 2:00pm at Smith Memory Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12-2:00pm Sunday.
