Richard Dean Choquette passed away on August 7, 2026, at the age of 83. He lived in Jefferson for over 30 years. He loved his family. Richard enjoyed golfing and was so proud of having "a hole in one" twice. He was truly a homebody and really liked working in his yard. Richard retired in 1985 from the United States Air Force after 22 years of active service. He served in Vietnam.
Richard is survived by his wife Jane; his son Chris; his brothers, Armond (Roberta) Choquette and Joe (Andrea) Choquette; his sisters: Nancy Holcomb, Rosemary Klieman, Diane (Bernie) Shear, and Kathy (Jack) Humphrey; his granddaughter Savryn; and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Richard will be held in Connecticut at a later date.
