Robert Earl Barton, age 80, of Statham, GA, passed away on June 29th, 2016. Earl was born in Walton county, GA, on Feb 4th, 1936. He is proceeded in death by his parents: Oscar Newton Barton and Eula Bell Jones-Barton, his brothers: Willie and Jimmy, and his sisters, Shirley Garrett and Patsy Woodall, and his beloved wife of 56 years: Charlene House Barton. He is survived by son: Phil Barton, of Statham, Mark Barton and wife, Olga, of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren: Josh, Stephen, Paige, Bradley, Christina, and Hristos. Earl is survived by his brother, Harold and wife, Anne; and his sisters, Irene Medlin, and Diane Grey, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm, on Friday, July 1st, at Midway Christian Church, Winder, GA with Minister, John Burchfield officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 12:00pm, at Midway Christian Church, 1406 Hog Mountain Rd, Winder, GA 30680.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Earl to: Camp Kudzu, which serves Georgia's children, teens and families with Type 1 diabetes.
