Robert "Bobby" Standridge

Robert "Bobby" Standridge, age 80, of Winder, GA passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025. Bobby was born on October 18, 1944 to the late Robert and Ann Standridge of Winder. Bobby grew up in Winder and spent many years in the Boy Scouts. Bobby was a graduate of Winder Barrow High School and attended the University of Georgia. Bobby proudly served our country for 36 years in the Georgia Army National Guard. While in the military he was always in the air, flying OV-1 Mohawks and helicopters. Bobby loved cars, especially the Chevrolet Corvette, and dogs and cats. Most of all, he loved his wife Shari.

In addition to his parents, Bobby is predeceased by his son-in-law Phillip Wall and his brother-in-law Jerry Goins.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Shari, and their children, Kelli Wall and Kerry Joe "KJ" Hall. He is also survived by grandchildren: Laney (Nick Ralston) Holcombe, Brandon Schoonover, Madison Wall, and Mackenzie Thompson; great-grandchildren: Gabe, Graham, and Grayson Ralston; brother, Chris (Kay) Standridge; sister, Sherry (Steve) Jackson; sisters-in-law: Linda Goins, Patsy (Ernie) Smith, and Cyndi (Johnny) Beasley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 11:00 am in Smith Memory Chapel and he will be laid to rest in Barrow Memorial Gardens, 793 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in memory of Robert Standridge be made to Winder First Baptist Church, Pup & Cat Co, or the Barrow County Humane Society.
