A native of Chester, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Harry Hathaway and Sydney Farmer Hathaway. Mrs. Hardin was a dedicated homemaker throughout her life. She will be best remembered as a dedicated mother and grandmother who found immense pride in her family. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hardin is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Mr. William Kenneth Hardin; son Kenneth Ray Hardin; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Hardin is survived by her sons; Kevin (Cissy) Hardin of Statham, John (Jennifer) Hardin of Dacula, and Bryan (Correen) of Statham; daughters, Juanita H. (Kenny) Clanton of Statham, and Wanda (don) Hall of Winder; brother, Jimmy Hathaway of Charlotte; sister, Shirley Little of Porter, IN; grandchildren, Chris, Misty, Madison (Wes), Kody, Shane (Brittany), Austin, Ryan, Lauren, Tabitha, Sammy, Isaac, Machaela, Lyric, and Kenley Rose. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The Memorial Service to honor and celebrate the life of Mrs. Rosemary Hardin will be held on Thursday evening, May 24, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Smith Memory Chapel with Rev. Robbie Black officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday evening, May 24, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service in the Stateroom of Smith Funeral Home.
