Ruby Irene Crowe, age 98, died August 3, 2015. Mrs. Crowe was the daughter of the late Robert E. Lee and Rosa Cordelhia Hamilton Manus. Mrs. Crowe was retired from Walton Clothes and was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Howard Crowe and children Bobby Jack Crowe, Rachel Fox, Frances Ford, and Rebecca Crowe.
Survivors include children; Ronnie Crowe, Wayne Crowe, Jimmy Crowe, Lynda Segars, Helen Rogers, and Janice Moss; 21 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 10 great- great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday August 6, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel at Smith Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Rev. John Burchfield and Hal Tapp will officiate. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
