Sara Jo Bailey, age 91, of Winder, GA, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013. She was a lifetime resident of Winder and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Sara Jo worked as a seamstress for Superior Garments for 52 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Bailey; her son, Bobby Bailey; and both of her parents, Willie “Bill” and Sallie Mae Kennedy Patrick. Survivors include three grandchildren, Melanie Whitehead of Bogart, GA, Ritchie Bailey of Social Circle, GA, and Dawn Bailey of Conyers, GA; six great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-9:00 pm on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 26, 2013 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Ferguson officiating. The burial will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens, Winder. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
