Mrs Shelby Sims

Mrs. Sims was a member of Providence United Methodist church and retired from ABB, Inc. in Athens. She is preceded in death by first husband, Eddie Mallory; sister, Nell Harvey; and step daughter, Marion L. Sims.

Survivors include: her husband, Ray M. Sims of Statham; daughters, Gail Mallory Rain, Lynn (Rick) Mallory Yother; sisters, Hilda (Crew) Brewer, Sue (Walter) Chancey, Pam (David) Bradshaw, Kathy (Duane) Hakes; brothers, Andy (Harriet) Griffeth, Mark (Connie) Griffeth; grandchildren, Lisa (Matt) Meeks, Danielle (Justin) McMillan, Ryan Yother, Russell Yother; great grandchildren, Colby & Shelby Meeks, Belle & River McMillian and caretaker Robin Noland.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 23 from 5 – 9 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 24 in Smith Memory Chapel with Rev. Dewey Mallory officiating. Interment will be in Providence United Methodist Church cemetery.
