Mr. Steve G. Reynolds, age 64, of Jefferson, GA passed away March 13, 2014. Steve was a decorated and dedicated law enforcement officer in Barrow, Walton and Jackson counties who earned many service awards and letters of commendation. He was proud to serve his country. Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Frances Cheek Reynolds; and daughter, Whitney Lynn Reynolds. He is survived by daughters, Amy Thrower of Bethlehem and Julie Williams of Loganville; two sisters, 4 grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home in Winder, GA. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home at 4:00pm Sunday, March 16, 2014 with Dr. Tracy Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens in Winder.
