Steven Douglas Otto, age 55 of Winder, GA, passed away on May 28, 2026. Steve was a beloved brother, uncle, great uncle, nephew and cousin. He will be remembered best as a kind, sweet, and friendly man with a great sense of humor who was a joy to be around. Steve had a fond passion for classic cartoons and old classic TV shows.
Mr. Otto is preceded in death by his parents, John W. Otto & Josepine A. Otto and his brother, Timothy W. Otto.
Mr. Otto is survived by his sister, Debbie (Mike) Brock of Winder; two nephews, Brandon and Ryan Brock; his aunt, Jo Ann Morton; and eight cousins. He was also a great uncle to three great nieces: Ashley, Hailey and Sloane Brock; and three great nephews: Christopher "C.J.", Peyton and Grant Brock.
Smith Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Burial will be at Barrow Memorial Gardens. A private, family only, memorial gathering is being planned at a later date.
