Summer Laci Brown of Winder, GA passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 31. She was born in Lawrenceville, GA to Tammy Denise Lynch Kellum and Keith Ward Brown on September 21, 1994. Summer was a member of 12 Stone Church Sugarloaf Campus. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her favorite place was to be on the lake.

She is predeceased by her maternal grandmother Diane Clark and paternal grandparents, Roger and Virginia Brown.

Summer is survived by her father Keith Ward Brown (Pam) of Winder, GA; mother Tammy Denise Lynch Kellum of Winder, GA; sisters: Brittany Godfrey (Brent) of Statham, GA, Casey Kellum (Chris) of Winder, GA, and Kailey Tucker of Jacksonville, FL; step sisters: Kayla Hudson (Troy) of Peachtree City, GA and Jordan Bolt (Marcus) of Winder, GA; step brother Matthew Maxey (Renee) of Madison, GA; nieces: Collyn Godfrey, Carsyn Godfrey and Cora Godfrey of Statham, GA and Kinsley Hudson of Peachtree City, GA; nephews: Cole Godfrey of Statham, GA, Rohan Tucker of Jacksonville, FL, Callen Hudson of Peachtree City, GA, Kameryn Jackson of Winder, GA, and Casey Maxey of Madison, GA; grandparents: Royce Lynch (Ann) of Winder, GA, and Barbara Kellum of Winder, GA; and multiple loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA, on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. A funeral service will follow in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to help support the family during this difficult time.
