It's been a hard year without you, Daddy.  We miss you so much.

Teddy was such a bright light in the world. Always had a joke and made a point to make everyone he could smile. I'm lucky to have known and love him. My love and tenderness to all who still morn his loss. When a light that bright goes out, it takes a while for the world to adjust their eyes.

Hayley and Betsy,  your Dad was a very special man. Everyone who knew him has at least one memory of him that would bring a smile to their face. I know I have a lot of fond memories riding back and forth home from Georgia Southern with him. ( He had a car and I didn't). He will be greatly missed!

Hayley and Betsy, although I do not know either of you girls.  Teddy was a special friend.  He so loved his girls and grandchildren.  He told many stories.  He was so funny.  He could sure lift you up.  A great man for sure.

Teddy was a great friend for over 48 years.  We talked frequently about a variety of topics, and there was never a dull conversation.  He was a very talented person with a unique combination of outstanding abilities, most notably his devotion to those with whom he taught, coached, or worked with.  We will miss him.

Mr. Parker was always a bright spirit and could bring a smile to anyone's face. I was the only Freshman of my high school class that got the privilege of the last Driver's Ed course WBHS offered.  Mr. Parker allowed me that privilege and it was one crazy fun ride. Thank you Mr. Parker. I will miss you wit and hugs. See you again. Love to my cousin's Haley and Betsy.

Coach Parker was my drivers ed teacher at WBHS and he taught me how to drive on I85 even though I didn't care to learn how. He told me I would learn or fail his class. I passed but still to this day hate to and avoid as much as possible driving on it. But any time I have to drive on it I think of him. And I had drivers ed right before my lunch period and Coaches lunch too so he taught us how to use drive thru and how to parellel park at the Busy Box in downtown Winder so we could pick up lunch before returning to the school. He was a great man and teacher. I know he will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to his family.

Coach Parker (Poach Carker... as I mistakenly called him one day and after we stopped laughing the name just kind of stuck) was a true friend. I will never forget his smile and the twinkle in his eye. He never failed to make me laugh. I don't think he ever met a stranger. He had a way of making one feel like the most important person in the world when talking to him. I will cherish my memories and pray for peace for his sweet family. Betsy & Hayley, Your Daddy was a good man. How blessed you are to have called him, Daddy.

Coach Parker was a great coach. He knew exactly what to do when facing a formidable opponent. If the opposing team had a killer zone, then he would put in our sharp shooter. If they had speedy players on the wing then he'd get us to swing the ball to outrun their legs. He was masterful. He taught me something I'll never forget. One day I asked him why he fussed at me more than some of the other players. He said, "don't worry about the times I fuzz at you, but instead worry when I stop fuzzing at you.". Coach Parker taught me that when someone cares about you they will take the time to correct you. It's something I carry with me and use to help raise my children. Coach Parker will never be forgotten.

I work with Betsy, my thoughts and prayers for the family of Mr Parker.  I hope you feel surrounded by love in this time of grieving.

Such a brave man.  I'll miss him dearly.
